This is a compiled newsletter about outstanding activities and events that ESI has implemented in parallel with teaching activities in the first quarter.
A charity trip to donate gifts to disadvantaged students in mountainous areas. This program has been initiated and prepared since July 2023 and received great attention from parents, students, and the entire ESI team. On behalf of all the love, ESI presented meaningful gifts to the students, bringing them small joys in life.
Honoring outstanding students and ESI students who achieved international English certificates in the first quarter of 2024: This is a regular activity to encourage and motivate all students to strive every day to achieve well-deserved achievements.
Successfully implementing the extracurricular tour: Twelve Hours Together. A short one-day out-of-province tour after the end of the school semester exams. ESI students had a very interesting experience and effectively used English A in this real-world program. The goal of the extracurricular activity is to help students relieve stress and regain motivation.
Becoming the first IDP Study Abroad Consulting partner in the North Central region. ESI implements Study Abroad Consulting programs at prestigious schools in English-speaking countries (UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland) including Long-term study abroad for high school, university, postgraduate, vocational training and short-term study abroad: Summer study abroad, study abroad during Tet holiday with consulting programs to choose scholarships suitable for students’ abilities, choose schools/majors/countries suitable for students’ learning abilities and family finances with completely free services. The goal is to support ESI students and those interested in studying abroad after completing their international English certificate goals.
Organizing the MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE full scholarship award ceremony for disadvantaged primary school students in Dong Ha city. The total value of the scholarship is up to 300 million VND. 100% of students receiving scholarships are not only sponsored for all study costs including tuition fees, materials… but also can participate in completely free practical activities and extracurricular programs from the Center. The program belongs to the educational project “Making dreams come true” which has been organized since 2019 to date, with the goal of helping disadvantaged students have the opportunity to access high-quality international standard English courses.
Launching Spelling Bee courses for learners aged 5-8 and 9-11 with two options: trial courses and full courses with a certificate of completion. The goal of the Spelling Bee courses is to equip a solid language foundation starting with correct pronunciation to be confident with English skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing. Correct pronunciation and mastering English reading techniques are one of the basic skills and knowledge that help learners achieve their goal of speaking English more and more like a native speaker. After its launch, the course received a lot of attention from parents and students enrolling and enrolling. So far, the Spelling Bee course has opened 7 classes and continues to receive counseling and enrollment.
Successfully organizing specialized workshops on teaching methods and quality improvement for each level of students. Specifically, the workshop in January 2024 with the theme “How to make a photo-story lesson interesting and effective” was chaired by Ms. Truong Vinh Phu (Team Leader of YLN level); The workshop in February 2024 was chaired by Ms. Tran Thi Quy (Team Leader of Active Learning model) on the topic “How to teach preschool students effectively and how to deal with problems during teaching” and the workshop took place in March 2024 by Mr. Tran Thanh Dung (Team Leader of Teenagers level) as the host is “How to be successful in teaching Teenage students -writing skills”.
Workshop on updating the “Standardization road map for English courses at ESI 2024”. This is one of the important contents focused on updating and innovating according to the Cambridge program standards in ESI’s annual English training programs. The workshop was chaired by Ms. Vo Thi Quynh Nhi (Head of Teaching Department), taking place on March 9, 2024.
Celebrating the 8th anniversary of the center’s establishment 20/3/2016-10/3/2024. A milestone marking the birth and development of ESI. To mark the event and the development of ESI. In addition to continuously improving the quality of training and testing, the quality of customer care and service, and developing new courses to meet the needs of learners. ESI has brought a tuition discount program and valuable gifts through the Golden Day program taking place on March 10, 2024.
Workshop “Comprehensive English road map solution”: This is a training activity to update, upgrade professional skills and knowledge for all staff taking place at ESI. This is not only one of the annual activities to raise awareness of the responsibility to serve the community but also to help build a healthy working culture in the educational environment as well as help connect colleagues between departments in a strong way, understanding and supporting each other in the work of the entire ESI team. The workshop was chaired by Ms. Tran Thi Thu Van and took place successfully in March 2024.
