THE INTRODUCTION TO MOVERS LEVEL(A1)

  1. Objectives:

– The course aims to help students recognize familiar topics and focus on the skills necessary to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

– Develop confidence and passion for learning English through exposure to a series of fun, lively, exciting exercises revolving around familiar topics suitable for children’s age.

– Creating a foundation for students to move towards more systematic English exams (Flyers), parents can accurately assess their children’s abilities and better support their children’s English learning journey.

 

  1. Teaching Content:

Reading and Writing Skills:

Reading:

  • Students are guided to read and understand basic information in the form of definitions, dialogues, and short texts related to familiar everyday topics with clear illustrations.
  • They are introduced to topic-based vocabulary and basic grammar points about tenses, sentence structures, prepositions, etc., to familiarize themselves with the language used in the exam.
  • Students practice various question formats in accordance with the A1 Movers Reading test structure.

Writing:

  • Students learn to complete simple sentences by writing words/phrases, answer short questions, and write basic descriptions using simple English structures and tenses.
  • They are guided on test-taking skills to ensure they provide full answers, avoid spelling mistakes, and practice various question formats in accordance with the A1 Movers Writing test structure.

Speaking Skills:

Speaking:

  • Students are helped to understand basic instructions and participate in simple conversations about familiar topics, express their personal opinions using short sentences, and produce simple descriptions based on pictures.
  • They are trained in confidence and language reflex through regular practice of various question formats in accordance with the A1 Movers Speaking test structure.

Listening Skills:

Listening:

  • Students are guided on how to listen for information about names, colors, simple descriptions, and understand the basic gist of conversations rather than individual words to choose the correct answer.

They practice various question formats in accordance with the A1 Movers Listening test structure.
